Are you planning a public event in the area? Why not advertise on our website? Only £10 per listing.  Charities and Good Causes will be listed FREE of charge.

There’s no better way to get your event noticed than in our paper and directory. We ensure that your advert is seen by the right people to help make your event a success.
Charitable events and those set up for a good cause can be advertised free of charge. We love giving back to our community and would be delighted to help raise awareness of your event.

If you want to advertise a paid event, you can choose from our range of advertising options. We do charge a fee for such events which you can find out more about by contacting our team.

CHARITIES AND GOOD CAUSES

We always reserve a limited amount of free spaces for Charities and Good Causes but as you can imagine, we often get inundated asking for this service.
Once all the spaces are taken in each issue we can offer a 50% discount for advertisements promoting charitable and good causes events.

More than ever, since 2020 and Covid-19, the Wotton Directory and the Wotton Times have been able to help promote local businesses and community groups such as Wotton Area Mutual Aid (WAMA) providing information on how and where vulnerable people can go to get help.
It is so important for everyone to be shopping locally and keeping the local businesses going. Whether you keep the printed copy of the Directory until the next issue, or you look through the online Directory to find a local tradesman, please make the Directory your first port of call to find that local business that needs your support.

Please also remember to let them know that you found their advert in the local Wotton Directory so they know that their advert is working for them. This also helps this other local business who is very appreciative of everyone’s support.

Annually, The Trustees of Wotton-under-Edge General Charities invite applications for small grants towards the cost of further education and employment skills training for qualifying young residents of the Parish.

The “ad” has proved a useful aid in giving information about applying for a grant and - if not always read by the students - is certainly seen by their families!
